Netgear
NETGEAR's range of secure wired and wireless business networking products are designed for businesses with up to 250 employees. Products include: VPN firewall routers for secure access to the Internet and corporate resources, managed and unmanaged switches and a range of network cards to connect any laptop or desktop PC to the LAN and Internet.

Wireless
NETGEAR's wireless network products extend the range of cabled environments to an entire office or site, enabling easy networking access for mobile users or hard to wire locations. Highest levels of encryption ensure maximum privacy and security.

• Wireless cards and adapters
NETGEAR's range of wireless cards and adapters offer an extensive choice of speeds and coverage for WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) connectivity in the office and Internet/VPN connectivity from the office, home and public areas, e.g. airports, cafes.
• Firewalls
Wireless Firewalls securely communicate with other networks geographically distant from each other and the Internet. Offices utilising wired and wireless networking, will benefit from these devices as they feature an antenna for wireless communication and switch ports for Ethernet connectivity.
• Access Points
Wireless access points are used to add a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) to an existing Ethernet Local Area Network (LAN), providing a 'bridge' between your Ethernet network and a wireless network, enabling data communication between the two.
• Wireless Print Server
Freedom to print wirelessly: Connect up to 2 printers wirelessly to your home or office computers or laptops without having to add print servers, wireless adapters or unsightly cables!
• Antennas
Omni-directional antennas radiate radio-frequency energy equally in all directions for widespread, all-points wireless deployment. Directional antennas transmit and receive radio-frequency energy into a cone, or beam, for higher signal strength and reception in a single direction.
• Software
Whether it's creating a VPN for a mobile workforce, or a new network management platform, NETGEAR's ProSafe™ software solutions help network administrators to get the most out of their networks and network devices.

Firewalls
NETGEAR's Firewalls use industry standard security protocols to provide home and office network users and mobile workers with secure and private access to the Internet and corporate resources.

Switches
NETGEAR's switches range from unmanaged switches for network segmentation to fully managed Layer 3 switches that operate as your LAN's backbone.

• Unmanaged switches
Small, undemanding networks operate well using unmanaged switches offering basic switching functionality and very little configuration. Unmanaged desktop switches sit unobtrusively on a desk, are inexpensive and easy to set-up.
• Unmanaged rack mountable switches
Small, undemanding office networks operate well using unmanaged switches offering basic functionality and little configuration. Unmanaged Rack-mount switches sit in a rack mount or on the desktop, are inexpensive and easy to set-up.
• Fully managed layer 2 managed switches
Ideal for larger, complex networks, Layer 2 managed switches provide management and control to identify bottlenecks or errors, trunk ports together and prioritise traffic for user-groups or servers. And that’s just for starters!
• Fully managed layer 3 managed switches
Layer 3 Managed Switches do everything Layer 2 equivalents do and more. They provide the backbone to a large network, by sub dividing it into several subnets; e.g. into departments or areas of a building.
• Smart managed switches (entry-level network mgmt)
Smart Switches are entry level managed switches offering key management features; enabling businesses to cost effectively extend a fully managed network or add management and control to an existing unmanaged network.
• Power over ethernet switches
Switches with Power over Ethernet (PoE) enabled ports are able to transmit data and power over a single cable to power and communicate with wireless devices; e.g. wireless access points, surveillance cameras or IP phones.
• Fiber modules
NETGEAR’s Switch Modules enable businesses to add high-speed, long-distance fiber connectivity to servers or between two LANs (Local Area Networks). A choice of 100 and 1000 based modules are compatible with selected NETGEAR switches.
• Network software
NETGEAR's NMS100 provides software-based network monitoring and management to ensure proactive networking problem resolution.

Network cards and adapters
NETGEAR offers a wide range of wired and wireless network cards and adapters to connect laptops, desktop computers and games consoles to a network and the Internet. The voice broadband adapter turns a home broadband Internet service into a telephone.

• Wired network cards & adapters
Wired network cards and adapters connect computers to a network and the Internet (via a Router) using Ethernet cables. Choose to connect at Fast Ethernet (up to 100 Mbps) or Gigabit Ethernet (up to 1000 Mbps) networking speeds.
• Wireless network cards & adapters
NETGEAR's home wireless adapters and cards below offer an extensive choice of wireless networking speeds and coverage.
• Ethernet modems
The DM111P ADSL 2+ Ethernet Modem is a simple solution for setting up direct, always-on Internet connectivity for home and office networks.

Print servers
Print Servers manage print requests from computers on your office network and make printer queuing information available to staff and network administrators. NETGEAR provides these devices as independent units, at attractive prices for small networks.
